Strode through London, hope incomplete, hoping for a rainbow
I rode a bus then took a seat: crying for a rainbow.

Searched all over this old town - lonely as a scarecrow
Asked a cop, then asked a clown, all I got was: ‘who knows?’
Quizzed some girls in pretty gowns, angels with dirty halos
